Mobile crane operator — Jefferson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Jefferson County, Indiana. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. You should have: • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
