Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Full-time with occasional weekends.
