Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator technician in Edgefield County, South Carolina. The job is at a busy lift company. Your main tasks: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
