You should have: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work You will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. ₦210,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
