Mason's helper • Calhoun County, Florida

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mason's helper in Calhoun County, Florida. You will work on a road and bridge project. On a typical shift you will load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Meals and transport allowance provided.
