Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Butler County, Kansas. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens The role involves: • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
