Flatlock machine operator • Slough, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Slough, England. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently On a typical shift you will match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Pay around £2,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
