Steel fixer — Lake County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixer in Lake County, Michigan. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level You will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder.
