Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Madison County, Georgia. Day to day you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; write and edit G-code programs at the control; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
