Safety inspector — Kusilvak Census Area

Join our team: we are hiring a safety inspector in Kusilvak Census Area, Alaska. You will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations 6+ years on the tools preferred.
