Vacuum press operator — Henry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Henry County, Ohio. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; give each garment a final press before packing; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 2+ years on the tools preferred. $150 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
