Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Marion County, Tennessee. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance 4+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
