Tyre bay technician — Vernon Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Vernon Parish, Louisiana. You will be based in a fast-fit workshop. On a typical shift you will handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres; keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres; torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench; carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe. Ideal candidate: • 1+ years' experience fitting and balancing tyres • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
