Immediate opening: we are hiring a power press operator in Fairfax County, Virginia. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $210 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
