Sheet metal press operator — Wilson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Wilson County, Kansas. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
