Banksman — Boundary County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a banksman in Boundary County, Idaho. The job is at a power plant. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
