Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry operative in Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
