We are recruiting: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Carroll County, New Hampshire. Day to day you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
