Banksman — Duplin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Duplin County, North Carolina. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
