Fabrication workshop technician — Mason County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Mason County, Illinois. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
