Semi-automatic welder • Lamb County, Texas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Lamb County, Texas. You will be based at a busy production line. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium We offer $2,800 per month plus benefits.
