Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Strong knife skills and speed on the line Day-to-day duties: • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Label and date all prepped ingredients in the walk-in • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
