We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Chaffee County, Colorado. Your main tasks: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Meals and transport allowance provided.
