Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State. Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
