Vacancy available: we are hiring a hand presser in Monroe County, Missouri. Day to day you will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits.
