Rough terrain crane operator wanted in Elk County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Elk County, Kansas. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. What we are looking for: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Day to day you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger. Full-time, day shift. We offer $220 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
