Machine setter-operator wanted in Champaign County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Champaign County, Ohio. You will work in a textile mill. On the job you will handle: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Rotating shifts.
