Power press operator — Bristol County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a power press operator in Bristol County, Massachusetts. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Day to day you will record output and downtime on the production sheet; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
