Immediate opening: tile setter (Rivers State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tile setter in Obio/Akpor, Rivers State. Requirements: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines Day to day you will match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
