Press setter operator — Dare County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a press setter operator in Dare County, North Carolina. You will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
