Hydraulic press operator — Napa County

Join our team: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Napa County, California. The job is on the press shop floor. Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses. Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
