Powder coating line operator • Walsall, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Walsall, England. The role involves: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches Ideal candidate: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
