Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Jefferson County, Oklahoma. The role involves: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools and PPE 4+ years on the tools preferred.
