Gas service engineer — Mifflin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
