Backhoe operator — Miami County

Join our team: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Miami County, Indiana. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Ideal candidate: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence Your main tasks: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
