Presser — Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a presser in Shelby County, Indiana. You will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics. You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
