Great opportunity: we are hiring a sausage maker in Fluvanna County, Virginia. Day-to-day duties: • Season and marinate meat on request • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder You should have: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Full-time, day shift.
