Now hiring: electrical wireman (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an electrical wireman in Piatt County, Illinois. You will be based in a power distribution substation. Day-to-day duties: • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Carry out preventive maintenance on switchgear and busbars • Pull and terminate cables in conduit and cable trays Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical trade or wireman certificate • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
