Immediate opening: head baker (Wisconsin)

Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Lincoln County, Wisconsin. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Score the top of loaves before baking • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight You should have: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
