Immediate opening: overhead (EOT) crane operator (Tennessee)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Hardeman County, Tennessee. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. What we are looking for: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves: • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
