Vacancy available: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Yenegoa, Bayelsa State. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work The role involves: • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter 4+ years on the tools preferred.
