Plant operator wanted in Palm Beach County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Palm Beach County, Florida. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day to day you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
