Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Champaign County, Illinois. The job is on the press shop floor. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day to day you will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
