Vertical milling machine operator — Howard County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Howard County, Indiana. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Your main tasks: • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter You should have: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
