We are recruiting: we are hiring a single needle operator in Live Oak County, Texas. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Part-time with flexible hours.
