Escalator technician • Jackson County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an escalator technician in Jackson County, Texas. You will be based in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Valid driving licence for site call-outs We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
