Vacancy available: rough terrain crane operator (Nebraska)

Now hiring: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Garfield County, Nebraska. You will be based at a container port and shipping yard. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) On a typical shift you will work out the load weight and the lifting radius; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports; read and interpret the load chart before every lift. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
