Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Dallas County, Missouri. Your main tasks: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Full-time with occasional weekends.
