Vacancy available: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Athens County, Ohio. On the job you will handle: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm 3+ years on the tools preferred.
