VMC operator — Val Verde County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Val Verde County, Texas. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
